The Netherlands cabinet Biesheuvel-1 (1971-1972) was a coalition between the protestants (ARP and CHU), the Roman-catholics (KVP), the conservative-liberals VVD and the moderate social-democrats (DS70). Problems of the cabinet were the release of war criminals (three of Breda) and the increasing inflation. The decision to cut government expenses was not supported by DS70, so the cabinet lost its majority in the parliament.
