Custom House station is in the Docklands area of east London. It is served by trains of National Rail's North London Line and the Docklands Light Railway, and is in Travelcard Zone 3. It takes its name from the old Custom House, which formerly stood nearby. It opened in 1855, on the Eastern Counties and Thames Junction Railway.

It is the principal public transport access to the ExCeL Exhibition Centre and its adjacent complex of hotels, restaurants and bars. It is linked to the main entrance of the exhibition centre by an overhead walkway, which also connects to the Royal Victoria Dock Bridge, spanning the Royal Victoria Dock to its southern side.

The proposed Crossrail line 1's Dartford branch will call at Custom House.
