Bas-Congo (post-2006, Kongo Central) is a province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is the only province with a coastline (Atlantic Ocean), and its regional capital is Matadi. The province borders Kinshasa to the north-east, and Bandundu province to the east.

Other towns include Banana, Boma, Muanda, and Vivi.
