Ahfad University for Women is a private women's university in Omdurman, Sudan. It was founded in 1966 and was awarded full university status in 1995. When founded it had just 23 students; in 2005, it had 4,600.

The university has the following undergraduate schools:

  • School of Family Sciences;
  • School of Psychology and Pre-School Education;
  • School of Organizational Management;
  • School of Rural Extension Education and Development; and
  • School of Medicine.

It also offers two graduate programs: Human Nutrition, and Gender and Development.
