Dimmsdale, California is the fictional city located in Imperial County that is shown on the Nickelodeon animated series The Fairly OddParents. It is often mentioned as a huge metropolitan complex in the suburbs where Timmy Turner lives. In The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour 3: The Jerkinator, it is revealed that Dimmsdale has a population of 172,000, a small population for such a large looking city.

Dimmsdale was founded in 1664 by pioneers that in which were going to name their town Bitterburg, after Alden Bitteroot. But when his secret is revealed, that he is indeed a witch, Dale Dimm stops him and saves the town. In honor, they named the town Daleburg, but Timmy Turner recommended that it be called Dimmsdale.
